Details: This is a 60 year old handmade vintage Eastern Anatolian rug. Due to the region it comes from it is called a ‘Kars’ rug. It is a woven rug, these kinds of woven handmade rugs are called ‘kilim’ rugs. Bold medallion embellished with a diamond shaped motif inside and with tribal designs with protective symbols, amulets and good luck charms around it. Border design consists of star motifs.
