This is an Atari Asteroids Cabaret arcade cabinet released in 1979. 

Asteroids History

Asteroids was released by Atari in November 1979. It featured Vector graphics, and the player controls a small spaceship around an asteroid field, shooting asteroids that get in its way. Asteroids was based on a prototype Atari game titled Cosmos, but most game-play elements were taken from Atari's first game, and the first arcade cabinet game, Computer Space (1971), and Space Invaders (1978). Asteroids was one of the first hit video games, and sold over 55,000 cabinets and cocktail cabinets combined in its original run. In the early 1980's, Asteroids was released on the Atari 2600, and became one of the best-selling games on the console.
