When choosing a pet memorial or garden stone there really is only one choice of stone to work with and that's granite. Granite is the perfect choice for any outdoor application where the stones natural composition can help defend itself against scratching, acids and other outdoor occurrences. As with any natural stone, there may be slight mineral deposits in the granite, also referred to as "diamond" flake. These granite tiles are easy to maintain. A damp cloth will remove any dust or fingerprints that may accumulate over time.

The tiles are an absolute black granite stone, polished on the front side and stained black on all four of the sides. The front and the back edges have been beveled to eliminate any sharp edges. The back side is not polished on this particular item.
