Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn, "Art is Triumph."  I recently saw a printed t-shirt with this logo, and I just couldn't stop thinking about how great that was.  Some years ago, my paintings always included a phrase or word, or even a number.  Sometimes it just adds a little more intrigue! This piece feels fresh and new to me, and a perfect sentiment to start a new year in my art practice.
