The overall blade shape gradually narrows from the hilt to the tip, both radially and axially, using traditional clay-tempering and Japanese-style polishing techniques. The copper fittings are intricately hand-carved and plated with gold and silver, presenting a simple yet elegant design.

The blade is hand-forged, undergoing traditional sword-making processes such as rough shaping, heat treatment, filing, grinding, refining, quenching, tempering, and hand polishing.
