This piece is made of solid white oak from the casework to the drawers to the backing. Simple, elegant, functional. The ZYGO looks great from every angle, including the back, and can live nearly anywhere in your home. We use ours as a dining room cabinet to house our trash bins, placemats, napkins, and orchid supplies.

Solid white oak construction. The casework is made of solid 1" thick white oak with a rounded miter, continuous grain edge. The drawer and cabinet faces are made of quarter sawn white oak, a stable, beautiful, and sustainably sourced timber. The drawers are made of white oak - rabbet joint reinforced with dowels. Drawer slides are Blum soft-close.

Notes about the photographed piece: the back is shown as multiple species, your piece will be made with a single species - solid white oak tongue and groove backing.
