The 4.4 liter V8 biturbo engine (S63 B44T4) in the BMW M models has an indirect charge air cooling circuit in which the charge air is cooled by a water-cooled charge air cooler. With our innovative high-performance charge air cooler from Wagner Tuning, you can replace the original charge air cooler and experience an impressive increase in performance.

Our high-performance intercooler has a new type of performance core measuring 192 mm x 156 mm x 128 mm. It was specially developed for the high demands of the BMW M5/M8 engine and offers an incredible 75% more external intercooler core volume compared to the standard intercooler. The optimised ratio between inner and outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and optimal internal airflow. The cast aluminium end boxes were designed using the latest CAD technology and optimised using CFD simulations. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal back pressure, which ensures optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance. This kit is even ideal for demanding racing.
