Smart Base Connector (new) [WPtyIArl]

The Kewlus Smart Base Connector (new) [WPtyIArl] is made from a tough, fibre-composite material used in high performance car engine components. Designed to be used as a base mount for modular free-standing equipment like the Kewlus Cobra Bag in conjunction with the Click Mast (sold separately or as part of a kit).

Please Note: the Mast may be quite tight when inserting into the Smart Base Connector (new) [WPtyIArl]. This is a good thing, but may present a challenge when inserting into the Connector. If that's the case, first mount the Smart Base Connector (new) [WPtyIArl] onto the baseboard (or Paddles), then use a screwdriver through one of the top holes in the Mast to help you push it into the Connector Watch this video on how this can be done:

Important: The Smart Base Connector (new) [WPtyIArl] includes a stainless steel hose clamp. Once you insert the Click Mast into the Connector, the steel clamp must be clamped tightly around the collar of the Connector - see picture. Do not tighten the clamp without the mast.

Super Important: If you're using the Paddles with your Smart Base Connector (new) [WPtyIArl], please ensure that the silver locking screw and nut that comes with the Paddles is nice and tight at the centre of the Paddles. See this video for details: https://youtu.be/2Hy0FtnaLfo

If you need to pre-drill pilot holes to attach the base, use the base itself or use this Smart Base Connector (new) [WPtyIArl] PDF template file as a template for marking the holes. Important note: make sure to print at 100% scale or the holes will not line up.

Screws are not included with the Smart Base Connector (new) [WPtyIArl] as the length and type of the screws will depend on the thickness and type of platform that you use. For screwing into a concrete floor you will need long screws with plugs. For most types of base connections I recommend getting screws that are at least 1.5 inches long.
