This is the now discontinued V1 of The Scran from SoundLad Liverpool. 

An inductor and transformer loaded discrete overdrive designed to capture the energy and tonality of classic Britpop era guitar tones, all without borrowing from vintage "Brit" circuits. Dubbed "The Britpop Pedal" and praised as “Oasis in a box,” Scran takes inspiration from the physics of loudness, creating a wide spectrum tone shaping tool with surprising nuance and depth.

Instead of using conventional EQ points, Scran pushes and pulls from the extremes, sub and bass frequencies on one end, and the “air band” treble on the other, gently shaping the mids from both sides. This means your instrument retains its placement in a mix, while gaining extra depth, clarity, and saturation. It responds dynamically to your playing and doesn’t hijack your sound.  Players often describe it as adding an entirely new amp channel, rather than a typical stompbox feel.

Scran is especially effective with B(V)ox style amps.  Buffers can affect treble response, so it's best run straight between guitar and amp. Whether you’re after massive anthemic chords or textured breakup with British sensibility, Scran is a powerful and unique drive that rewards expressive players and careful dialling in.

This is a 'used' pedal, in our Grade 4 excellent condition, with no real signs of use except a large patch of velcro on the back, and comes with the original box, bag and sticker.
