Advanced Communication Capabilities

The Juki LK-1900BNB and LK-1900BN models are equipped with inbuilt NFC (Near Field Communication) and communication devices that support two-way data transmission. This allows for seamless data transfer on sewing machine adjustments to a commercially available Android tablet in a contactless mode, enabling quick checks for uniform settings and confirmation of sewing machine conditions in a sewing line, thereby facilitating efficient setup changes. The operation panel also features a USB port for easy data management and software updates using a USB thumb drive. Sewing data can be numerically managed to ensure stable quality and reduced setup change times, and this data can be externally accessed using an Android tablet or USB thumb drive.

Enhanced Thread Management

Bird's Nest Preventing/Shorter-Thread Remaining Functions (LK-1900BNB)

These functions eliminate the need for manual thread-nipping, providing a soft and smooth feel on bartacking sections that come into direct contact with the skin, such as in brassieres and tank tops. The machine prevents thread tangling (bird's nests) on the wrong side of the material at the beginning of sewing by retaining the thread and trimming any excess during sewing, achieving high-quality performance. The length of thread remaining on the material at the end of sewing has been reduced to 2 mm or less, thanks to the newly-developed shorter-thread remaining mechanism, which trims the thread shorter and withdraws thread waste by suction.

Use #60-80 (TEX22-30) polyester spun thread.

Productivity and Workability

• High Sewing Speed: The machine achieves a sewing speed of 3,200 stitches per minute (sti/min). Enhanced starting, stopping, thread-trimming, and automatic presser lifting speeds significantly shorten the total cycle time.

• Low-Noise and Low-Vibration: The direct-drive head, directly connected to a compact AC servomotor, reduces vibration and noise, creating a comfortable working environment. The arm section of the machine head is fitted with a hand pulley for easy visual checking of needle entry points.

• Excellent Seam Quality: The needle thread grasping mechanism ensures consistent knot tying at the beginning of sewing. The sewing starting point can be corrected without adjusting the relevant mechanism.

• Auto-Lifter Mechanism: Standard auto-lifter with a stepping-motor system reduces operator fatigue. It allows changing the stroke from a one-step to a double-step stroke, offering easier material positioning. The work clamp foot lift can be set to a maximum of 17 mm (standard 14 mm).

Additional Features

• Oil-Free Operation: Advanced dry-head technology eliminates the need for lubrication in the frame (needle bar and thread take-up), preventing material staining. A small quantity of clean oil is supplied from the oil tank to the hook.
• Eco-Friendly Power Saving: An encoder installed in the pulse motor significantly improves power consumption savings.
• Adjustable LED Light: The LED light can adjust its intensity to 5 levels, with an off setting also available, improving work efficiency.

The LK-1900BN model is available in five different subclass models to cater to various applications:

Each type is designed to enhance performance for specific material types, with features such as increased needle penetrating force for heavy-weight materials (H type) and a large shuttle hook to reduce bobbin-thread changing frequency (W type).
