The Classical Cake Stand is an elegant take on a traditional piece.  Not just perfect for cake, the Classical Cake Stand is also an elegant centre piece for savoury treats such as cheeses, pies, and tarts.

Hand thrown in porcelain at the John Julian workshop in Wiltshire, UK, the Classical Cake Stand takes around a month to complete. The platform is hand thrown on the potters wheel and the top is then glazed. The elegant and sculptural base is also thrown on the wheel by one of our skilled potters. Each piece is fired separately and then the Cake Stand is fired together as a whole.

As each piece is made by hand there will sometimes be some slight variation in colour and size, but this is part of their individual character and charm.
