Schlage B562P 609 C Commercial Grade Double Cylinder Deadbolt - Antique Brass

The Schlage B562P 609 grade 2 deadbolt is part of the Schlage Commercial B-Series Collection. With the double cylinder (B562) function, the deadbolt is thrown or retracted by a key from either side of the door. This allows control of who leaves the premisis and forces the use of a key. With the Antique Brass (609) finish, this will match any current hardware you have. If this double cylinder deadbolt does not match, we sell 4 other finishes in the same function.

The bolt on the Schlage B562P 609 is 10% larger than typical bolts and is more secure. It features a anti-pry shield behind the latch which prevents picking and holds the lock in place during installation. This latch also has a thicker metal security strike backup on the jamb side and a third screw inside the cup for deeper anchoring into the door. The solid zinc bolt also features a hardened steel pin inside that spins in response to a sawing attack and cannot be cut through. Not only is this a quality latch, it is also adjustable for 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backsets.

The keyway on the Schlage B562P 609 is a Schlage "C" 6-pin keyway.
