Our Y-1 Western Chisel, made with Zen-Wu white-paper carbon steel (ZW-C1), is truly the western bench chisels for every woodworker. With a classic design and with dead flat bevels and backs, it features edge retention and toughness surpassing all carbon steel chisels we have tested, matching popular CPM steels. Blade length 130mm, handle length 140mm, total length 270mm.

Flat and ready to shave out of the box, 30° cutting angle without secondary bevel.

UPDATE: Single chisels now comes with updated handles (see last two photos) made from red bamboo leaf oak, sets will continue to come in hard maple handles.
