Understanding FAS and FAS1F Grades:

• FAS (First and Seconds): This is the highest grade of hardwood, ensuring a high yield of usable wood with minimal defects. It is known for its superior quality and appearance.
• FAS1F (First and Seconds One Face): This grade guarantees one clear face, making it ideal for applications where one side will be visible, maintaining the same high quality as FAS on the visible side.

• Acclimatisation: We recommend allowing a couple of weeks for the flooring to acclimatise to your environment.
