All of DETECTO’s bariatric scales come with a low-profile platform which is easy to access for obese and unsteady patients. The platforms are secured by skid-proof rubber mats to add ease of mind for safety when stepping on and off the scales. Certain DETECTO models feature additional safety measures such as stainless steel handrails with padded grips and seats for elderly, obese, or patients having trouble with walking. The sturdy column and handrail design can comfortably weigh maximum capacities up to 1,000 lbs. To gain a complete set of measurements, some scales also feature digital height rods to help calculate height and then factor Body Mass Index. The highly-versatile indicators can transmit data via EMR/EHR to quickly and accurately share patient’s data with the medical facility’s PC and patient recording software. Most DETECTO bariatric scales come with wheels to easily transport these sturdy weight platforms easily and effortlessly.
