Smilla Toddler Chair was designed by Nina Bruun in 2021 as an integral part of the Oakling product family. Its elegant form language and delicate craftsmanship are testaments to our own appreciation for Nordic interior traditions and Danish design history.

Craftsmanship

The high chair is made in Europe from certified European oak. Crafted from real oak means that each piece may vary slightly in grain, knots and finish. These subtle variations are not to be considered as faults but as beautiful traits of a unique natural material.

We supply a set of brass plaques with your purchase that can be engraved with the child’s name or a personal message. This is your opportunity to start a beautiful tradition and share the history of the chair’s little owners from sibling to sibling, and from one generation to the next.

Safety

Smilla Toddler Chair meets all European safety requirements. It is thoroughly tested through the European EN17191_2021 standard for complete peace of mind. The wood is treated with an easy-to-clean and non-toxic matt lacquer.
