Accurascale is thrilled to unveil the latest addition to its esteemed 4mm/OO gauge Mk.2 coaching stock collection, the late-style Mk.2c variant. This unique model features the distinctive small 'air con'-style toilet windows, a design originally intended for retrofitting with air-conditioning equipment, a modification that never materialized. Crafted with precision, the Mk.2c BSO 9458 is a perfect replica of the 150 vehicles built at Litchurch Lane, Derby, between 1969-70, in various designs such as TSO, FK, FO, BFK, and BSO.

Exceptional Features and Specifications

The Mk.2c BSO 9458 boasts a range of exceptional features and specifications that make it a standout model. Engineered with a high level of detail, the OO gauge model is designed to run on 16.5mm track, offering a realistic and immersive experience. Key features include:

• Extremely fine exterior rivet detail on roof and coach ends, adding to the authenticity of the model.
• Separately-applied etched metal and high-fidelity plastic parts, including handrails, brake/steam heat pipes, ETH cabling, and sockets.

Additionally, the model features Prism Free Glazing, pre-painted etched metal water filler covers, and a fully-detailed underframe with numerous separate parts and accurate differences between versions. The B4 bogies are the most accurate ever produced, with provision for re-gauging to EM or P4 (18.83mm) gauges. The wheelsets are blackened RP25.110 profile with 14.4mm back-to-back measurements and 26mm over pinpoints. The Mk.2c BSO 9458 also includes a full lighting package with magnet 'wand' controlled interior lighting and 'Stay-Alive' capacitors in all coaches.
