For your viewing pleasure is this beautiful 1960 Ludwig 5x14 Jazz Festival snare drum in Sparkling Blue Pearl. It's in terrific condition with barely a mark on it. Born on Feb. 2, 1960, this transitional era snare is slightly oversized at closer to 5 1/4" depth so not quite Ringo depth but close. It features the original chrome P-95 lugs, period-correct small knob muffler, Ludwig butt plate, P-83 snare strainer, and triple flanged chrome over brass hoops on top and bottom which are all in great condition with just a slight beauty mark on the edge of the top hoop where there's a small bend as shown. There are no extra holes and the bearing edges are true. This snare sounds just as good as it looks. Tunes up beautifully with modern heads. This would be a great piece of Ludwig history to add to your collection. Enjoy!
