For your prime viewing pleasure is this stunning vintage Gretsch round badge Progressive Jazz drum set from the 1960s. The all original 6 ply Jasper shells with silver sealer interiors were meticulously rewrapped by Jim Moritz of Chicago Drum & Restoration in no longer available burgundy sparkle wrap (not the newer "merlot sparkle" offered currently, which is a noticeably different shade than original burgundy sparkle. These drums tune up wonderfully and sound sublime. They encompass the '60s Blue Note jazz sound and vibe with the greatest of ease. There are no extra holes or modifications. The hardware is clean and all original with exception of the beautiful reproduction rail mount. All of the tone controls (top and bottom) are nice and fully functional, as is the original Jimmy Pratt bass drum muffler. These drums look and sound like a dream! Enjoy!
