The Marshall Plan, also known as the European Recovery Program, was a U.S. initiative to provide aid to Western Europe after the devastation of World War II. In order to promote the plan, a poster contest was held throughout Europe which represented the theme of cooperation and economic recovery. Over 10,000 pieces were submitted, and a panel of twelve graphic artists from around the world served as judges. 25 posters were selected for publication. This original poster titled "Collector's Item Frieden Durch Intereurop Price Crushed By 95% [nkHOBL38]. Zusammenarbeit" was designed by artist Ernst Storch. A rare and fantastic piece of history!
