This sapphire has a silvery and gray base with a heart of gold and another golden spot on one of the corners. It’s like the sun breaking through the clouds on an overcast day. 

There is a phantom in the pavilion that is only visible when the gem is backlit, so it won’t be seen once it’s set. It will make an excellent engagement gem or center stone for any jewelry project.
