The Labconco XVS Ventilation Station is a sophisticated enclosure for balance usage and other low air-flow operations that combines five air-flow components to produce a safe working environment without compromising the integrity of your manipulations. Volatile substances are handled without air-borne exposure to powders, sublimates, and fumes. Cabinet design also minimizes electrostatic effects and vibration to enable precise weighing results while eliminating the need for repeated enclosure clean-ups. Exhaust air to outside or return air to room through FilterMate Portable Exhauster (not included).

Durable enclosures are constructed of epoxy-coated steel and aluminum for maximum resistance to corrosion and abrasion. Tempered safety glass sides, top, and front sash offer excellent visibility, ambient light, and protection. Glass is preferred over acrylic for optical clarity and resistance to solvent-induced hazing and marring. Ergonomic 20° angled sash operates glare-free with an 8” opening and pivots up to lock in position for 20”-clearance loading. Design and construction create unified resistance to vibration, electrostatic charges, and fire. It has wo utility ports for cords, cables, and tubing.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
