"Comet Over Thumb Butte (vertical series):" I shot the comet over Thumb Butte over the course of 3 nights, beginning on Saturday, October 12. Some of the apparent change of position of the comet between images is due to my shooting from slightly different locations. I have always been fascinated with comets, even as a young child, so I was grateful to be able to witness this icy beauty while we could still see it.
