A personal note from Bonnie: What goes through a cat's mind, while they are sitting underneath a Christmas tree?......maybe temptations of climbing the tree.....or playing with the dangling ornaments.......or eating the gingerbread cookie hanging right in front of her! This tabby cat belongs to a friend of mine, who captured this great moment on her camera. I used it for this painting, and used my imagination to develop a curious -unfolding setting around her.
