This 2009 Gibson '52 Tribute Les Paul Goldtop is part of a limited run of 564 made with a "Prototype" stamp on the back of the headstock. Cosmetically it is clean with hardly any evidence of play with a couple of harline cracks in the knobs and a small finish crack on the treble side edge. It is resonant, plays great with a full '52 profile, and serves as a spot-on tribute to where it all began. Includes original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
