The pen was originally made for the former Speaker of The House of Representatives. This inlay is a replica of the American Flag containing all 50 stars precision cut with a  laser and then inlaid by hand one star at a time until all 50 stars are placed in the blue star field.  The thirteen stripes are also glued into place by hand.  The wood is curly poplar that is dyed red and blue.

This fountain pen will delight the recipient with a hand made pen that will exceed even the most discriminating collector's expectations.  The pen components are rhodium-plated with 22kt pieces which are extremely durable and include a sparkling Swarovski clear crystal in the clip.  All exposed accent rings, bands and caps include custom hand-carved three dimensional designs.
