Last August I sat in the goat shed and started writing a book.

600 pages later, I have never been more proud of anything I have ever done. Ever.

The Guide to Becoming Alive is part manifesto, part memoir. Together we talk about work ethic, sex, love, purpose, food, exercise, technology, politics, design, plants, and dogs. There’s plenty of great images and lots of words to live by. In a world that feels chaotic, this is a roadmap.
