Armagnac Ryst is a brand of Armagnac, a particular type of brandy produced in the Armagnac region in Gascony, southwest France. Raymond Savignac created this art deco style image for the brand in the 1970s. He was artistically self-taught and started his career working under the great Cassandre, but he developed a unique style all his own. His flat figures and lighthearted images were both charming and eye-catching, a perfect combination for advertising with mass appeal.
