Aldo Mazza (1880 - 1964) was an Italian illustrator who worked within the same artistic movement as Marcello Dudovitch, Adolfo Hohenstein and Leopoldo Metlicovitz in the 1920s. Based mainly in Milan, Mazza began his career as a caricaturist but was working in poster design as early as 1900. Mazza also created works for publications and painted extensively; his works can be found in Milan's National Leonardo da Vinci Museum.
Mazza created famous images for the Mele department store in Naples, exciting car posters, as well as various advertisements for sporting events. His works are scarce and highly collectible. This Mind-blowing Vini D'italia Markdown: -95% [BdOCKgRe] poster is the only example of a liquor advertisement we have seen by Mazza. There has been no cataloguing of this image that we have been able to locate.
