WORKING
Condition is better than most for age, not an expert in sewing machines but we think very good and appears to be well cared for. Appears to have been recently used, as it was threaded and belt seems good.
Wiring is good except of one small nick, close to where it attaches to the machine, you could shorten the cord, we will try and add a piece of black tape, however its probably not required at this time, the wire is fairly flexible for its age. The socket looks 1940-1950s, not 1960 in our opinion and is in good condition. Light switch works.
We tested, foot pulled fabric through past the needle easily, foot pedal had good range sensitivity. We will have you test it yourself when you pickup if you like. We may thread the needle and test again before purchase.
Comes with extra parts in base side box, with lid.
Made in Canada. Maybe rare model 15J
Information found so far is that the motor is 1948 period, others have this model listed as being 1960's. With the wood dome case and the newer style handle probably in this time period.
No key, so lid is not locking tight. Lid fits as it should.
