With extensive options for book storage, this handsome bookcase features a center with three open shelves over two stacked drawers between two large doors. Three shelves are concealed behind each door. The doors are carved with opposing winged dragons with sea creatures suspended from their tails. Additional sea creatures adorn the drawers. Raised on ogee bracket feet with a decorative apron between them, the bookcase is just over 4.5 feet tall. This is a vintage item from the mid-20th century, not an antique.
