Generous storage and a delightful display case are paired in this remarkable Louis XV buffet hutch. Crafted from beautiful European oak at the end of the nineteenth century, the hutch is carved with shells, flowers, C-scrolls, and scrolled acanthus leaves consistent with Louis XV style furniture.

This piece provides the versatility to store items discretely in the lower half, while proudly displaying your favorites in the upper gallery. Two elegantly carved doors open to a three shelves in the lower cabinet. The upper gallery sits on top of the cabinet and features two glass doors with a center panel of fixed glass. Behind the glass doors, three shelves allow you to display your treasures. Two small drawers beneath the glass doors are available for storing small items. Raised on onion forefeet and block rear feet, the hutch is over eight feet tall.

Conditions: Consistent with age and use. Dings, scratches, cracks. Small pins formerly secured fabric to shelving, leaving small pin holes.
