This is a Sakai Takayuki new model, "GINGA" Gyuto, made of New Stainless ZA18 at the core of the blade, squeezed into 68 Layers ZA-18 Damascus Steel with Professional Octagonal Handle(Wenge Wood & Buffalo Horn Bolster).

New Blade Material ZA18 is of really hard material and sharpness stays long, due to high abrasion resistance. Compared with other Stainless Steel, content by percentage of Chrome(Cr) is higher and naturally it shows high rust prevention.
