These gears are made from quality materials and produced with high dimensional accuracy, which is typical of all Japan-manufactured Prometheus products. Quenching and shot peening are applied for duability. The bevel-to-step gear segments are helical cut, but a helical pinion gear is not required. Furthermore, the number of latch teeth is increased to reduce the reverse load when the gear is stopped.

These gears also come with a MAX High Torque Prometheus Piston, so the end user will not have to modify an existing piston to work with the gears. The piston is excellent quality. (Note: does not come with a piston head as pictured)

Some modification to the gearbox shell may be necessary to accommodate the Torque gears. Recommended for TM shells and those similar to them.
