Organic Red Patterned Heart With Wings, Wall Sculpture Premium Build [e9PXM3Lx]

Original ceramic sculpture by Julie Latayan. This piece comes with a mounting hole and lip to fix sculpture against wall. The heart is red with flower petal texture built in, and flat in the back. The wings are glazed white with cracks of a black base coming through. On top it has a gold leafed adornment.

The artist merges sculpting and painting in her work, finishing her ceramic sculptures in acrylic paint. Her inspiration come from the rich diversity of humanity’s quirks and emotions. Julie feels a heartbeat in every piece of clay and works to bring it to life in a clever and unique way. Often times, she untraditionally leaves much of her work unglazed, only glazing to highlight certain areas.
