This collection was created as a way to remember this significant, historic time, as a way to remember what our ancestors have survived in the past, and what we will survive together today. 

Embroidery is created by hand directly onto handmade paper which has been attached to a vintage photograph using French cotton embroidery thread and hand-dyed silk thread. 

The vintage photograph measures about 4.75"x 6.75" and is unframed. The piece will be signed and dated on the back.

Please note: As this is a vintage photo, there is some wear and damage on the edges and corners of the postcard, as depicted in the images. There is a surface crease on the upper left of the photograph, above the woman's head. Please contact me if you need additional detailed photographs.
