Our saddle pads consist of 100% wool and feature a 6" cutback in the withers to allow for free movement of the scapula. They measure 30” x 30”x 3/4”  The wear leathers are made of 100% leather to ensure durability.

We believe wool is the superior pad material due to its absorbency and moisture wicking. Each wool fiber absorbs 35% of its weight in moisture helping it to pull the moisture away from your horse . Each fiber allows air to flow over the horses back and through the pad to offer breath ability and antibacterial properties during drying.

If you choose to use a liner (personally, I ALWAYS use a liner!  Liners are cheaper to replace than pads when they get dirty!) Our liners are made of a wool blend to effectively absorb sweat. The wither is cut back and the spine is open to provide additional comfort, and our liners proudly made in the USA.  I personally use a liner on all of my pads, because it’s easier and more cost effective to wash or replace a liner versus an entire pad.
