Water depth is approximately 48 inches to allow for 2 inches of sand at the bottom of the pool and the water level to be at 1/2 the skimmer line and top rail height for added safety. The steel pool frame features 6-inch steel top rails, 5-inch steel vertical posts, and 2-piece injection molded high-impact resin connectors. When the filter is full of debris, the gauge will let you know that it's time to flush out the pump with the convenient 4-position multiport valve that reverses flow and cleans it out for you. The 12-inch filter tank holds 42 pounds of sand and the powerful 1/3 HP pump moves 1200 gallons per hour. For best water care, only use pool chemicals. DO NOT use bleach.
