The limited edition WASP homage watch is a tribute to the Women Airforce Service

Pilots from WWII. Every aspect of this watch intentionally honors these courageous

women aviators.

It features the official WASP wings insignia on the face, and the words "Honoring the

WASP - Women Airforce Service Pilots 1942-1944" engraved on the back. The blue GMT

numbers on the dial is the same blue of their military uniforms. The hour markings are

designed to resemble the rivets of the airplanes they flew.

The WASP watch comes in a collector’s box with an authentic penny from the years

1942-1944, a nod to the tradition that the WASP had of tossing a penny into the wishing

well and making a wish at their training grounds at Avenger Field in Sweetwater, Texas.

Each watch will have a steel 1943 penny as nearly all circulating pennies at that time

were struck in zinc–coated steel because copper and nickel were needed for the Allied

war effort. The number "38" on the dial is in memory of the 38 WASP who died in

service.
