Effortless Northfield Wavelength - Short Scale Octave Mandolin Markdown: -50% [vuEHtz2O]

Just in from Northfield, a brand new Wavelength Octave, and we are very excited about it! This model incorporates a shorter 19" scale length on an A type mandolin body that gives the player a bit more access to melodic playing and the tone is more crisp and punchy (like a mandolin) than the guitar body offerings. Being an entire octave lower than a mandolin, it does have a very deep and rich voice, but this one has much more cutting power than found on most octave mandolins. It will certainly stand out in an ensemble of instruments, and the shorter scale allows mandolin players to reach more of their repertoire than a longer scale allows. We love how Northfield finds little innovative tweaks to improve on traditional instruments and the Wavelength is another great offering!
