This hand-turned form is decorated with reactive copper paint, and a patinating solution applied over this paint creates the characteristic green aged stain of copper. To top it off, an aged metal ring collars the top. The vessel evokes many contrasting surfaces and textures--wood against metal, the smooth turned surface against the pitted and weathered iron.
