I followed her, one night through my window. I followed her over the streets and stones and grasses, my feet pacing with the steady beats of her broad, glowing wings 

I followed her into the groves, her light the only thing my eyes could see until we reached a small clearing where the moon flowers pulsed and the vines reached to tickle my cheeks

"Luna Moth," I exclaimed, "what is your ambition here?" but she did not answer for she has no mouth

"Luna Moth", my voice commanding "what is it that you aim to accomplish?" but she did not answer for she has no mouth and was busy smelling the sweetness of the flowers

"Luna Moth" I asked with my voice starting to waver "how can you be so careless while your time is so limited?" but she did not answer for she has no mouth and was presently quite charmed by the way her long tails glittered in the moonlight 

"Luna Moth", I whispered "but what is it all about?" but she did not answer for she has no mouth and landing softly on my nose she spread her great big wings like a mask to make me giggle. She alighted again, I sighed and lay down in the gentle grass to watch her drift from flower to flower, pausing to shake a dew drop to sparkle or to prance along a twisting branch. My eyes grew heavy and with my body melting into the ground I released into dreams of my own on silken, golden wings
