We found Brandon’s work at the Western Gallery in Dallas, Texas, and immediately fell in love with his contemporary western art style. The art is a fresh take on cowboys on open ranges, bucking broncos, the wild west, and is just pretty damn cool. Brandon’s art background started by making graphics for his California skateboard crew. He now lives in Nashville, TN, and designs graphics for a number of country music artists. His contemporary art style makes him a no-brainer to be included in our artist series. Here is what Brandon had to say about the Alvies Artist Series:

“The designs on the boots were inspired by some of my popular paintings from a series earlier this year. The idea came from simple sketches in my notebook that eventually became minimalist paintings. There were 10 different paintings in this series, they were on display in early 2022 in Nashville. I think the design has a little bit of punk rock with the contemporary cowboy thing that I am doing, it's perfect for this boot because it didn't take away from the boot itself, it was just a nice little addition to show some character"
