The specimen you are looking at is a fabulous Natural Bi-terminated Dark Smoky Quartz Tower (or Obelisk). This Smokey Crystal brings a beautiful translucency and on top of that, this crystal is in its pristine natural form, exactly as it was found in the mines.

The color is spectacular, deep golden tones (which I personally think of cognac or burnt sugar tones) are present from bottom to top. On the bottom part of the crystal we can find some natural inclusions of white/cream chlorite (lodolite).

The Crystal Quartz is another highlight of this Smoky Tower, the way it formed, making a perfect bi-terminated point. The bottom part brings us the Lodolite inclusions (check pictures to see the close details), which gives its character to the specimen.

Is said that Dark Smoky Quartz has a powerful grounding and balancing stone that shares an equally shady aesthetic. This powerful stone is a super-charged variation of the extensive Quartz group of crystals, but with a distinctive twist. It gets its wispy hints of brown from exposure to natural underground radiation from granite deposits, giving regular Quartz an added punch of vibrations.
