Customer Favorite Set Of 7 Antique Limoges Bouillon Cups & Saucers Online Exclusive [HdmZ4X2f]
Beautiful green laurels with pink roses and gold edges encircle each cup and saucer. These were made in Limoges, France, between 1901 and 1941 by the Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbot (GDA) Company and stamped on the back with the mark of CH Haviland, Limoges.
The double-handled design marks these as bouillon cups, used for sipping light soup at an afternoon tea or luncheon. Well-used, there is some wear to the gold paint on the handles. However, all pieces are in excellent condition. There are seven full cup and saucer sets, plus one extra cup, as this was originally a set of 8. The extra cup does have a chipped rim.
Saucers measure 5 1/2" in diameter, and cups are 3 1/2" in diameter.
