1920’s Transform Hubley Cast Iron Football Player Bookends ~ Limited Availability [6bO40i9M] from the 1920's. They measure 5-1/2” high x 6” wide x 2” deep. The finish is a coppery/bronzy color over cast iron. They still have their old green felt on the bottoms.

 

Rumored to be modeled after Harold "Red" Grange who first played at Illinois and later turned pro and played for the Bears.
