Here's an original 1982 Fender Smith Stratocaster in original Black finish.

This is the real deal SMITH Strat, not the cheaper 2 knob that everyone likes to call a Smith Strat.    The real Smith Strat has three knobs and '60s style neck and contoured body.   

Dan Smith was tasked with redesigning the Stratocaster after the 70's left Fender with a poorer reputation that it began.  Dan heard from dealers that quality control needed to be increased, tolerances fine tuned, and the vintage specs that made the Strat great should return.  Enter the return of the 4 Bolt neck plate, tighter tolerances, and a return to vintage tone.  

This guitar was purchased directly from the original owner who took excellent care of it and played it with care and love.    Completely original and well cared for.

The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent condition, too.   No buzz or issues.  Just set up at our shop so it is playing great.

Tone is fantastic, nice pure smooth and classic Strat bell tones.   Nice and warm and fat.

Comes with original Fender hardshell case and paperwork as pictured.
