This speaker is Kustom's modernised take on a vintage '60s and '70s era paper cone speaker with an aluminium dust cap. With its distinct dust cap, the Turbo 12 is a modern interpretation of a vintage speaker design that gives players a taste of the original speaker's tonal properties, which were great for cleaner tones, while successfully handling more modern, high-gain sounds as well. The tone has a slightly dark edge, and pronounced mid range bite. It would sound excellent paired with fender blondes, and is a hugely popular upgrade for modelling amps.
