For sale here is an 8' 2/2 5wt hollow built bamboo rod from the bench of Jim Reams. Excellent used condition. Wheat straw colored cane with bright guides and transparent marmalade wraps. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (#1098). Ferrules fit perfectly, and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. 6.5" grip is smooth with light soiling, and the rod is fitted with a bright cap & ring reel seat over highly figured burl spacer. Weight is 4.13oz. This is an early hollow built rod from Mr. Reams, a very smooth caster on the medium side of medium fast. Sold in the original bag and tube.
