For sale here is a Sage Model 506 fly reel with spare spool. Made in England by Hardy and based closely on Hardy's JLH series, Sage commissioned a run of these reels in the 1990's. The 506 is ideal for large trout and bass fishing, made for 5-6-7wt lines. Solid frame with ported spool, palming rim and reversible nickel silver line guard for RHW or LHW fishing. Alloy foot and strong adjustable click & pawl check. Excellent used condition, a small area of rim rash at the bottom of the frame, the spare spool is in excellent condition. Both spools come loaded with backing, and one has a mono running line. 3 1/2" diameter frame with a spool width of 3/4". Capacity is for a WF6 + 150yds. The reel packs into the original suede case and original box.
